Colenso is a fabulous little dining room tucked well away from the main street in Woodend.
Open for breakfast, Monday to Saturday from 8.30am, and also available for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6:00pm.
Offering so much more than just great coffee. Breakfast is served until just shy of noon and has classic offerings such as the nutty muesli with yogurt, french toast with maple syrup and of course, full egg breakfasts with side dishes made by chefs with an eye to consistency and detail.
Lunch is a midday pleasure with cured salmon, beetroot relish, creme fraiche and pea fritters. Pastry is a highlight at Colenso, and desserts are simply done and just sweet enough.
