There is a two storey rear wing with two tier verandah, a single storey rear wing and an extensive isolated bluestone stained block.
It is a fine example of provincial hotel architecture and survives from early times. The stone construction and intact nature of the whole complex is important. The buildings stand as virtually the sole survivor of what must have once been a sizeable community.
