Wagait Beach is a small friendly community (approx 450 people) an easy 90 minute (128km) drive from Darwin on fully sealed roads or just 15 minutes across the harbour if travelling by ferry. Driving is recommended so that you have a vehicle to visit the local sights. Even WWII buffs have places to visit.
